Anyone have experience with the Savant Pro Remote X2 when they eventually replace their Harmony’s? I’m thinking ahead to when I have to replace the existing remote.
I have a Harmony Elite and my wife and I mostly enjoy it. We have been using Harmony remotes for 16 years now and I’m worried if they take down their database we’ll be hosed. The Savant still is an actual remote wand, but is a fair amount more and I *think* I’d need the dealer to add/remove any new gear. But I don’t see anything else currently available that covers the gamut of devices, is easy for the family to use, and has a wand. |

I've been a big fan of the Harmony remotes for a long time so while I'm sorry to read this news, I'm glad I know what's going on. The simple little 650/665 remotes work with every remote-capable device in my system and the rest of the house and there's nothing else like 'em, AFAIK.
I see that the 665 is in stock at my local Best Buy, so I just bought another one, just for backup.
