Being new to AA...but a solid believer in the quality of Parsound products..

Quite by chance I stumbled onto this thread.

Have owned and immensely enjoyed a Halo A21 power amp which I traded up
for a new Halo JC5 power amp.

The JC5 from what I gather is John Curl's distillation of 2 JC1s onto 1 chassis.
What an amp the JC5 has turned out to be for me.

The reason I chose Parasound over Pass is affordability price point...as well as
outstanding build quality along with choice of parts.

Had the opportunity to hear a pair of Martin Logan CLXs being driven by a pair of
Threshold monoblocs....talk about a stunning beautiful system experience wow!!!
The dealer was very gracious and let me play a number of cds I had brought along with me. Wonderful dealer.

As the years went by the memory of that amazing experience was unforgettably
on my mind.

My goal was to have a touch of Class A which the JC5 is endowed with the first
12 watts Class A then on to Class AB on up to 400 watts 8 ohms / channel.

The dimensional sweet soundstage is amazing in my ears. Consider myself
so very blessed to have this beautiful amp.

Very much reminiscent of my experience so long ago now...

As we know John Curl designed for Mark Levinson years ago, and is
an amazing designer in his own right.

As far as manufacture Parasound has maintained the employ of a factory in
Taiwan for well over 2 decades afaik..

Thank you for allowing me a place to share.
Best wishes everyone

Seem great value for money American design !
Stereophile awarded ?
Specs seem so good
Maybe there should be a parasound thread
Great idea Paul7000...under the manufacturers segment of the forum
an addition ought to be included for Parasound but somehow got overlooked.

If Masterlu would create a Parasound category in the manufacturers
section that would be wonderful...

Thank you Ivan..

Best wishes everyone
