Has anyone had good luck with the DSPeaker X4 helping remove bass nodes and not take the soul out of the music. I am told by many that digital equalization can correct lower bass frequency issues, but makes other areas suffer.

I've used this for over 5 years- wouldn't be without it!
I've run tests with 6 guest Audiophiles ( all very septical about its effect on music reproduction), with the Antinode activated, and with it removed from the system- everyone preferred the Dspeaker system in the circuit. Of the 6, four purchased the Dspeaker, 1 (very well-heeled Audiophile) bought the vastly more expensive Accuphase DG 48, the last guy is still in denial! |

Agree about value of room correction Software. Many people in denial about this. Many manufacturers of products that DO NOT have room correction capabilities will steadfastly deny their benefits. So beware of that!

I used one with a pair of JL Audio E112 subs. As NZ said, I wouldn't be without it. The difference with and without is huge.
