Thanks ! I do not know their price in the US. But the problem is always the same : crossing the ocean fees, customs fees, importer fees.... DeVore is very expensive here. I paid 2800 euros for my used pair of Super 8's. The P3ESR cost in Europe is between 1800 and 2100 euros a pair, taxes included. Anyway, believe it or not, I could pay up to 12k euros for such quality. So I really consider them as being very cheap.

Jérôme, it appears that David is located in India (not the US.) Glad to hear that you have found your destination speakers in the Harbeths, enjoy the tunes!!! Mazel Tov, and Shana Tova (a bit early.)

This is a slight tangent but I just replaced a pair of Sonus Faber Concerto Domus speakers with some Harbeth 30.1 speakers
I tried out a bunch of different speakers including the SF Olympica 1 and the Devore O/96 and none worked for my wife and me. I put the Harbeth speakers in and we both agreed that they had more of everything that we liked - my wife's comment was that for the first time she understood why someone would spend money to upgrade speakers. I wish that my space was big enough for the 40.1 model ![]() |

If I sell my Rega RS10 which are in the living room, I will replace them by the 30.1.

FWIW I owned the C7 es3, & SHL5, and have heard the 30.1 & of course the P3esr. I rate the 30.1 as the best speaker Harbeth make followed by the P3esr. Dunno about the 40.1; never heard a pair. Next would be the SHL5 followed by the C7. I understand from a friend with a pair of SHL5 + that the "+" model is a step forward again, and has gone some way to giving the 5 a wee bit of sparkle.
Don't hesitate with the 30.1's. If you like the P3 esr, you will love the 30.1. Lots of sparkle, and completely seamless.
