And on a great pressing you can here the tape bleed through on Just a Little Lovin’. A great Lp

I have this album. Will have to pull it back out and put it in the rotation.

Those albums are all great examples...

Same here as crwilli,...doesn't matter as I don't have vinyl any longer.

The remaster to SACD of that Shelby Lynne song on this SACD is beyond description.

Blindfolded,...you could not pick out that this was not the finest vinyl playback of a perfect piece of reference vinyl:

The album you linked (The Wonderful Sounds of Female Vocals) is also one of our favorites. The entire SACD is tremendous and has a lot of great artists on it. So very good. Available in 180 gram vinyl as well.

Just a Little Lovin’ is also available as a whole SACD album. I’ve listened to your linked SACD (The Wonderful Sounds of Female Vocals) and the one below (Just A Little Lovin') and don’t hear any differences. Possibly a more discerning ear will pick up some.

The SACD:

The 45:

The 200 gram:

Unusual, but I enjoy the 200 gram more then the 45 version. However, I’m probably hearing the differences in our carts. We normally play 180/200 gram records with our Airtight Opus1 and 45s with the MSL Signature Platinum. I’ll need to try it the other way around for a few days …

IMO you can’t go wrong with any of them.

I could think of so many great albums to pick from. If I knew their personal taste I might play something they know. But if they came today and said wow me with something then it would be the UHQR of Bob Marley's Rastaman Vibration that album sounds so good even my wife even tapped her foot.
