We'll start "Netflixing" soon.
We have a more than 10 year old Pioneer 60" plasma that still functions very well. The image is very satisfying. But we want to be future proof, so an Apple TV 4K it will be (instead of an HD). There is a 32 Gb model and a 64 Gb. Where lies the difference? Thanks in advance!

Agree with the responses above. I use mine mainly for streaming movies and music and don’t download much, so I purchased the 32 Gb and have been very happy with it.

The new AppleTV 4K (for a few generations now) no longer download movies. It merely streams. So there’s no local storage needed. Unless you are downloading games, 32 is enough.

If only for Netflix a Chromecast ultra 4K works wonder. I am using the non-4K Chromecast and I am very happy with it. We have iPhones and the Netflix app is quite nice. The Chromecast is much cheaper too and is hidden easily behind the TV.

Apple is really big on locking me out of media that I own. For that reason I have not owned Apple products for a long time.

Considering the fact that movies I purchased on iTunes in DVD days suddenly got upgraded to 4K HDR with Dolby Atmos, the opposite has been true for me. I don’t know how many times I’ve dipped for Terminator 2 [emoji848] LaserDisc DVD SuperbitDVD BluRay. Or Bourne trilogy - DVD HDDVD BluRay UHD [emoji2357]

Thank you gentlemen!
I want to stream videos/photographs from Mac, iPhone and iPad also, so an Apple TV might be a better, albeit more expensive idea than a Chromecast (I started streaming Qobuz via a Chromecast Audio, a nice solution for 30€).
