Thanks! Good to finally find an outlet to possibly get these bad boys back into top shape!

I have loved Aerials forever. I own Aerial 8's, Aerial 7's, and the CCB center.

Hello again! I have good news. My 10Ts are back from the dead! I got an exact replacement MB Quart bullet ported, matched tweeter pair and just installed them. It's nice to hear them again!

So to update, I am now only in the market for the tweeter used in the CC5 and CC3. It is MB Quart without the 5 ported bullet attachment and, this is the kicker, it's faceplate is only the slightest bit smaller in diameter than the tweets on the 10Ts. I considered getting a third 10T tweet and turning down the outer diameter of the faceplate but, of course, they also put a tighter diameter on the placement of the screw holes. It's unfortunate that they chose to do that and make it impossible to use MB Quart old stock but it is what it is and now it is what I need.

Is there anybody out there with the solution to my long shot?

Thanks again!

As a fan of Uncle Buck I like your call sign. I might change mine to Uncle Wart or Buck Melanoma

Correction, the tweeter for the CC3 & CC5 does also have a ported attachment on the back. Also, to be more precise the faceplate diameter is 3 3/4".

Wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to the AA brand although I've been reading all the great things about this company and its founder Michael Kelly for years. It was the reputation of the CC5 that really peaked my interest. When people say is is probably the best center channel speaker on the market how can you not take note. I've heard the Revel Voice but was not impressed.

I've called AA several times. Sometimes I get a live person and sometimes I get a call back. I was shocked to discover the person returning my calls or answering the phone is none other that the company founder and owner Mr Kelly. How many other businesses can boast this level of customer support..... Even more gratifying is the enthusiasm and interest Michael has when talking to callers.

So back to the hardware. I've been looking to upgrade my Klipsch UltraII system and decided without hearing a single product that it would be AA. I was lucky enough to pickup a mint pair of black 10T's from the original owner including the sound anchor stands for a really low price. After reading that these speakers need lots of power to sound their best I hooked them up to an ADA MPA-500 amplifier.

All I can say is wow. The clarity and dynamics are amazing. They play loud without sounding harsh and brittle. There is a depth to the imagery that is almost holographic and this all adds to a sense of realism.

Now I'm on the hunt for a CC5 to complete the front stage.

Glad to see another happy Aerial owner here on AA. Congrats on your new speakers...
