I use solid brass plates from Menards. I coat the inside of the plates with a thin layer of Blue Tack type stuff to dampen the cover. Works for me.
I also usually add a rope of Blu Tack stuff aound the plug duplex interface. The stuff can be reused nearly forever. So easy to peel off to unplug, reroll into a rope and reapply. Any of it sticking.. Use the stuff itself tapping to lift any bits left around. |
