ARC Ref. 40
ARC Ref Phono 2 SE
Oracle Delphi Mk V with a Triplanar arm and Van den Hul Frog
ARC DAC 3 MkII with Ayre D-1X as a transport
ARC REF 210 amps
Vandersteen 5A's
Granite Audio cabling and power cords

Thanks so much
Rob
Welcome arcfan

Maybe Chuck (SRT-10 Viper) can jump in here. He owns the Lamm's and REF 40. He has compared the Lamm's to both the REF 250 and another amp. He might have some interesting comments.

Jim

I think going direct may be manufacturer depandable thing.

For instance, dCS and Wadia recomment to set up theur volume at max when pre amp is in use. I also noticed that when volume is all the way up at my Puccini the sound is just much better in comparison to half way Puccini & half way at pre-amp

I have a dCS front, too. I have the older Purcell/Delius combo. Soon I hope to add a Lamm L2 to the system, and that is exactly what I've been told, "set up the volume at max when pre amp is in use."
