-E-...when you say "Any 192 material I will just have to transcode down to 96/24 and "suffer."
What will you use to "transcode down"? Convert the files from 192 to 96 using music conversion software?

Something like JRiver can be configured to transcode on the fly - so you won't notice anything or have to use any other software to have a duplicate file. The original 192 file remains intact and what gets "fed" to the MDA is 96/24 (although you can feed up to 172 with no audible issue).

Ah..I see. Well, if I go with an MDA1000 I'll have to look into some software for some "down converting".
