IR Repeater for DTV
I moved my DTV receiver inside a cabinet. I'm looking for an IR repeater to help out.
Anybody have experience with this? And can recommend a solution. |

You do not require a IR repeater, for most DirecTv boxes you can order the RF remote from them. I have one for our kitchen unit and it works perfectly for the unit hidden in a cupboard.

Thanks Jim.
I use a Harmony 700 remote for that area. I believe it is only IR. I could order an RF from DTV, but it would only be used sparingly (when the Harmony is charging). |

Try Powermid, for about $40 on Amazon, it is a very simple solution. If you don't like the look of Powermid, you can put together a small Xantech system with one of their kits.
