I was thinking the same... Considering the size of your room... Go for the 805D3..

Thank you for your response. The D3s here are $9'000. I just auditioned DALI Epicon 6s & and the JMR Orfeo Supreme...Both are around $10'000 as well I think both offer more than the B&W 804S2...and I'm guessing perhaps they'll do the same with the 804 D3. Now. As you pointed out....I hadn't really wanted to go this high. Which is why I thought the D2s would be a good comprimise. They're probably more than ample for a small room...neighbors and politeness pretty much mean that I'm rarely going to use them at a level I enjoy..$6'000 804 Ds seems the quick and easy way out. OK..the bass might not rattle the downstairs neigbor's chandelier.

As to the 805 D3s...I'll try to audition them Saturday...not sure a stand model is going to fly with my however...
