Already two years....remembering Dan
Two years ago today, we lost a major contributor, friend and asset to this forum. The passing of our friend Dan aka jdandy was one of the saddest events I've experienced in a long time. I still hear from friends here how much he is missed, how AA just isn't the same since, and similar comments. I still think of him daily, wondering what he would say about this topic or that, and how I miss the visits we used to have both at my place and his. I wish he could see and hear the progress I've made in the last two years with my systems.
Dan was a true friend in every sense, and I miss him very much.

I never had the opportunity to meet Dan in person, but simply from our exchanges on this forum he had a unique way of making me feel like we were old friends. Always free to share his knowledge and experience he also valued input from others even if it differed from his own. A rare individual indeed and one whose memory can be an inspiration to us all, to always treat others with respect and kindness. May his memory be a blessing.
