+1 on this...I've always been a REL fan and have found their high-pass approach for 2 channel to be by far, the most musical and able to be well-blended into systems I've owned even over the all the sweetheart latest subwoofer brands that best serve the needs of home-theater or car audio. I'd like to know how this new sub measures in-room as the -6db point qualifier on the spec of 15 Hz could have this rolling off at 21 potentially in a moderately steep fashion,....given the size of the drive, power, etc...it seems like this, like other RELs I've owned, would measure and perform much better in-room/in-reality than the spec....let us know down the line as soon as you have it dialed-in and broken in. Congratulations!

As to the size of the room, no real planning there, it's just the way my basement is laid out that the size of the room lays out that way. It's a huge, fantastic space, I'm really excited for it.

Thanks for the info on the drywall! Yes, I'm upgrading all the drywalls in my listening room. I had a treatment company come out and tell me that I won't need too much treatment in the room as it seems to be a good room, sonically. I'll probably put the 25's in the front corners of the room with the high level connection. My current G2's will probably take the back corners of the room and will likely only function as LFE only for movies.

I'm told by REL and my dealer to connect both the high level and LFE to the subs. What do you think?
Sorry I wasn't able to respond sooner but it looks like you question was answered. Gotta love a sweet deal.

Running 4 subs at movie time will be re-dic-u-lous

It's been a while since i've posted here.

I've got my 25's dialed in. Man they are awesome. A stereo pair is quite insane for music. The soundstage is stunning. Subs completely go away and I all i hear is the bass, exactly positioned in the sound stage. Beautiful imaging!

One critique: these subs probably arent' the best for HT. They reach their limiters very quickly (you hear a loud sound of the drivers being overexcursed). But they are the bests i've heard for 2 channel audio. Right now i'm looking at other subs for HT use, been looking at SVS, JL audio, and paradigm subs for HT.

Here are some photos.

Sorry, had a blonde moment there. Here's my room, pardon the messy room, I'm still building my system down here ( just finished my basement). Many of my components haven't been transferred down here yet.
