Dan, your MA5100 is not older than that ?

Impressive Pete ! How did you get the money for it ? ( spending / pocket money ? Occasional little works ? ) do you remember its cost ?

The oldest piece that is connected is the MS-300.
The oldest piece that is used every day would be the Momentum's.
The oldest piece I own is a Sony 8750 turntable that sits on a shelf and is about 35-40 years old.

I forgot the Edison cylinder phonograph upstairs is actually the oldest , but I guess we are talking ones powered by electricity.

Jérôme.......You are correct. I forgot about my vintage system. Although I haven't owned them since they were new, my MA5100 was made in 1968 and my MR74 tuner was made in 1972.

Mine is a Marantz 2270 receiver. Months ago I ordererd many electronic parts to restaurate this beauty. I disassembled it... and while doing this, my job stressed me and I had to stop working at this restauration. Hope to find the right parts at the right place, when I will continue

I have a MAC4100 that was purchased in 1978. It still gets used pretty often. I got rid of a Dual 1219 and a Tandberg tape unit that was older than either, but you can't count the departed.
