Very nicely done Elberoth! Well thought out and aesthetically pleasing results. Well, I also like your choice of speakers.

It is a wonderful player, prolly the best integrated one I have ever heard. I went through Audio Aere Capitole mk II -> MBL 1531 -> ARC CD-7 -> ARC-CD-8 (and sampled many, MANY more - including Krell 505, Accuphase DP-500/DP-78/DP-700, Naim CD555, and EMM Labs etc) before I got the Puccini.

Having said that, it wish there was a tube stocked somwhere inside, to give that bit of tube magic that CD-8 offers . I may come back to the CD-8 at some point, depending how my system evaluates.

My current system with dCS -> Dartzeel -> Sasha is too much on the super neutral/transparent side. This is why I mainly listen to the Ongaku, which throws in a lot of texture to the mix, which I find addicting.

Extremely nice work with the room! Congratulations!

I think it's time for you to share with us the impression you get from changing from sophias to sashas
