Spades. Looking at bananas, they just don’t look robust for contact or ruggedness. No proof… but this is how they allows look to me. So, never bought them.

I would agree on 'older' banana designs. However, the banana ends offered by WireWorld are very substantial and one need not fear their robustness. They hold up my quite heavy Silver Eclipse 8 speaker cables quite nicely.

Check with Cardas, their GRS U spade might be large enough.
