Let the 'Tube Rolling' begin
Just arrived. Perfect timing. Have about 72hr on my new VAS Citation 2 monoblocks. The VAS branded Shuguang EL34-B and EH small tubes 'settled-in" after about 48hr and sound very good. Waiting on a quad of EH KT88 to get here, but they will have to wait a bit to be 'burned-in'. Have just enough time to roll in the new KT77 and let them settle-in before the new speakers are delivered on Monday. Is sad that new tubes these days are primarily sourced from either China
 or Russia . Hopefully, Western Electric will develop their own KT88/KT77/EL34 range of tubes in the not too distant future.
