I like both.
I don't know, upon my first listening to both the Sun Giant EP and the S/T, I thought vinyl did the album more justice.. Seeing as how these guys are a total throwback to the days of analog, I wouldn't be surprised if it was done totally analog - SubPop seems like a lable that would be cool with that... The LP on vinyl just sounds so much more detailed. That said, I would be perfectly content to listen on CD any day as their songs are magical.


Speaking of mastering and "audiophile re-mastering" These new "Audiophile" re-releases sound worse than the originals. Just heads up for what some us already knew!

But I personally prefer vinyl... for my sit down listening & when I'm relaxing, cd's for party & cleaning the house.
