Default Bryston Trigger I/O Connectors

Greetings,

I managed to ham-handedly destroy two of the trigger in/out connectors on my two SST amplifiers. The connectors are the ones with four conductors and use a screw down clamp mechanism to secure the wires into the connectors.

Is there a part number for these guys and are they available for purchase from Bryston or a third party vendor?

Thanks much!

You should easily be able to get them from Bryston. But these are standard components - known as Euroblocks - they should easily pull out of the amp if they are like my Bryston equipment.

This link on Mouser points to connectors with 5.08 mm pin spacing which is much to big to fit the Bryston.

Does anybody know the correct pitch for these connectors? Bryston is not answering their emails so I may have to call them directly.

Thanks again for trying to help!

I have one from an old amp I used to have, I’ll send it to you if you’re interested, I have no use for it anymore, just send me a PM with your address. It’s marked “WECO 110-A”. See photos:

A search on Allied Electronics came up with this:

Hi Tony and thanks for the offer. These two amps have plugs with four (4) contacts but the link to Allied will probably help me out.

Thanks again!

Joe

Update: And, as luck would have it, both Allied and Digikey are out of stock on the four position connectors.

Tony, no worries and thanks for the offer! Coming away with a real part number, WECO 110-A-111/04, is a win in my book.

WECO, who manufactures at least one version of this connector, pointed me to Master Electronics who have almost 500 in stock in case you are interested. Here's the link for your records:

Hi Blue Sky -
Here is a part with 3.5mm spacing - 4,093 in stock. Is this a match for what you need? If needed, I can pull out the one from my amp and confirm.

https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...faE%2FeA%3D%3D

also, one level up, here is the main page where you can select all the attributes. These are parts made by many manufacturers.
