Default Who are your top 5 favorite guitarists?

Seems like it’s been a bit slow in here lately........so here’s something to chew on.....who is in your top 5 guitarists list??? Not necessarily who you think is the best or most technically sound, but who you do enjoy listening to play the most? Here’s my five:

1. David Gilmour (emphasis on the later Pink Floyd years)
2. Derek Trucks (probably the best slide guitarist around)
3. Mark Knopfler (solo on Sultans of Swing is one of my all timers)
4. Joe Bonamassa (have seem him live twice, unreal)
5. Slash (he’s just awesome)

Add Larry Carlton and Vince Gill to the poll, both are extremely versatile, can play anything!

Yes, and if you break that rule I'll have Ivan ban you from AA forever!

Nah, I just picked 5 for no reason at all, by all means put a few more. My next two on my list would probably be Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix.
