The size of the grill is not the issue for me but rather the shape and the bulge on top of them with that line in the middle. It could be one of those car that look better in person than in pictures

The rest of the car is pretty uneventful

On the M4, the rear quarter is also troublesome. They removed the rear window
trademark look and if you don't pay attention to the front, it would look to you more like
a Mustang rather than an BMW. The M3 for some reason keeps this design aspect and
does make it look more attractive. I don't have anything against the Mustang,
it is just a different design that sort of collides with what you'd expect from a M4.

Not a fan, but am over the shock of seeing it in the Roundel almost a year ago. That European license plate in front of the grill in the picture Serge posted is a great improvement. Think I'll hang on to my 2013 128i. It is the last normally aspirated straight-6 that BMW put in a passenger car.

The new M6 is much better looking than the M3/4.

After watching that video, I'm not feeling that design at all. $140,000 for the well specc'd M4. What is this world coming to?

If she had any more phony affectations she wouldn't be able to talk. Terrible accent.
And, unfortunately, that car appears to be worse looking in actual (video) life than in still pic's. Didn't really notice how bad the rear is (apparently to match how bad the front is) until this. Looks like a diaper with a load sticking out at the bottom all the way across.
And that color. Where did BMW come up with that. Wonder if its called 'Pea Soup'?
No argument with the performance, but the cost is just like new high-end gear. No longer a value and way beyond the point of diminishing returns.
