The SP3 does 4K with the newer HDMI board. You can check the SP3 thread in the Bryston forum for more details.

The Theta Casablance lVa would be too expensive since this setup is mainly for bluray movie playbacks with occasional DVD-Audio music playbacks.
I don't do stereo listening using this setup. I do have a separate dedicated two-channel setup/system in a separate listening room.
I think the Theta Casablanca is more for someone who does both music and movies combined (hybrid system).
Unless if I could get the Theta Casablanca lVa for under $10k. Lol.

I too am looking for a way to split the audio signal and the video signal from my Apple TV 4K to feed the audio into my SSP-800 via HDMI while retaining 4K video that will be sent to an LG CX OLED.

when I googled HD Fury, a number of different items popped up at different price points.

Which HD Fury are you referring to in the above post?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to reply.

The 8805 is stable and sounds great for movies and music.

I wish I could still get the Oppo 205 4K UHD bluray player
When I learned that Oppo was ceasing production, I bought an extra 205 as a backup. Nothing quite replaces Oppo.

Very nice.. any idea if it will support Dolby Vision?

will the Oppo-UDP 205 support Dolby Vision?

Or should I just go crazy and get an HD Fury Vortex?
