What Classical Music Are You Listening To Tonight?

About 75% of my listening is classical on analog FM. Am fortunate to be within ~50 miles of the broadcast towers for WRTI, 90.1 out of Temple Univ in Philadelphia. They do an excellent job and are classical from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and then jazz the other 12 hours. In the early '90s WRTI was 24-hr jazz and called 'the point'. But, the local 24-hr classical station folded and those with the money forced WRTI to go with the current format. While I would prefer the old, I can live with this as they do an excellent job with knowledgeable DJs and selections as well as non-compressed (mostly) music. My listening room is the front half of my 14x28 room and my office/shop is the back half. Desk is set up in my sweet-spot. Being retired, I've got it made for listening to music and most is classical. Life is good.

I've been reading your (excellent!) posts for some time and I'm so glad that you are posting on the Classical thread.

I wish that I had a listenable classical FM station near me - because that is where I (and many others of us here) was introduced to a lot of good music.

Please tell us about some of the music you listen to - especially if you discover something new and great.

Thanks, Julian. I love this RCA set for the money. It's great for the ship since I can put them all on my Olive and then send them home. I have several more large sets coming, and will share them when they arrive.

The signature is a little too loud for me. I think I am going to revert back to the equipment list, but probably just the major components.
