Welcome Eddy

I wish I could help but I am not familiar with the options you have with those pieces.

Hey Eddy, E-mail Tim Crable of Esoteric, you can get his address on the TEAC/Esoteric web site in the customer service link. He will definitely get back to you, and he will tell you the BEST way to set up the clock with the DAC and Transport.
By the way, the way you have it set up now, have you heard a difference in the sound quality? Good luxk and good listening , Tom

Hi Tom,

Thanks for your advise. I will e mail to Tim .
I heard a different in sound quality when I connected the G-01 to P-02/D-02 in the different set up. The detail and sound stage have different with a different set up. Last 2 weeks I 'd a chance to play with some digital BNC cables that connect from G-01 to P-02/ D-02 . I tried to find out which one that match with my system. With different BNC digital cables , It gave a different sound character . In my set up , I have to used 2 BNC cables ( from G-01 to P-02 and G-01 to D-02). When I used the 2 different BNC cables to connect to P-02 and D-02 , the strange thing that I and my friends discovered is when you swab the 2 cables eg. the one that connected to P-02 change to connected D-02 and vice versa. It also gave the different sound character.

Eddy, Did you like the sound better with the clock. When I heard the clock in Masterlu's system it added an undeniable quality to the sound. The soundstage blew out and expanded, it had an eerie " realness", however, that system sounded fantastic without the clock also.

Base on my experience with Esoteric and clock in my system ( X-03SE with G-03 , X01D2 with G-03 , X01D2 with G-0Rb , P-02/D-02 with G-0Rb and then G-01 )
Yes I like the sound with clock more than without clock. Soundstage blew out and expand , more depth and realness.

I tried many cables eg . Acrolink 7N -5050, 7N -5100, Transparent cables , and 3-4 DIY Digital BNC cables from my friend ( 2 -3 cables are Belden cables but the rest I don't know coz he did't tell me )
Now I end up with the combo Acrolink 7N -5100 and DIY cable . Actually the combo of Acrolink 7N -5100 and Transparent is a little bit better but the DIY cable is more cost effectiveness . I 'm looking for an used Transparent cable.
I tried 2 set of Acrolink 7N -5100 cables connecting from G-01 to P-02 and D-02.
It gave a good vocal but not good in dynamic .

Eddy, Thanks very much for your experience with the clocks and different cables. I think I have a deal in place for a new G-01 clock. It will be interesting to hear how it changes the character of my system. Based on your experience, I believe I will be very happy. Thanks, Tom
