They are gorgeous sounding. I love my Coral Stone as well as my Onyx all with the diamonds. They have superb midrange and not bad in the extremes. On the other hand my Dynavector xv1s is great as well however not as musical.

A little bit, not that much. Really the sweet spots in the line are the Urushis (Blue and Vermillion) and the Rosewood Signature Platinum. The lower priced stuff just sounds warm and rolled off and the big bucks stuff doesn't reveal that much more music than the RSP. The Sumiko PaloSantos is right in the middle of the Urushi and RSP for $3995. Tough to ignore.

I've been using a Koetsu Pro IV cartridge for about 18 years. Had it re-tipped once (by Van de Hul) and it just keeps on playing gorgeous music.

To say I'm a Koetsu fan would be an understatement. Since my first Koetsu in 1998, a Black, which I used for 8 years, I became the country distributor of Koetsu and have heard virtually all models, up to the Blue Lace and the diamond cantilever stone body models. I presently use the Rosewood Signature.
