Stephen...thx. I just checked his site. Looks like he has 3 retipping options:

1) Alluminum Alloy Cantilever / Nude Elliptical Diamond stylus: $150
2) Ruby cantilever / Nude contact line diamond : $250
3) Ruby cantilever / Optimized contour nude contact line diamond : $350

So sounds like you may have done #2 or #3. Peter's site claims that even option #1 beats what many OEs have on carts over $1K and that #2 is better than what OEs use in carts in the several thousand dollar range, and finally #3 is better than what's used in top shelf carts. I am not sure how accurate all that is but it sounds like he may be an economical alternative with maybe better results than the factory retip (which is absurd :screwy: at $900 when you can get a new one for $1,200 ).

I did the same thing to a Dynavector 23R Karat.

I am overseas, but will be going home soon, and do have a spare low output original Glider in my collection I would be willing to part with, or even loan you for a short period. I have a pretty big cartridge collection and it wouldn't put me out.

Yes, I opted for no. 2, Ruby cantilever / Nude contact line diamond : $250.

I have to say I am very impressed with the performance of this canti/stylus combination. The amount of detail it will pull out of the groove is incredible. If you don't have to have your Benze be "OEM", this is a viable option.
