True, because Platinum are more labor intensive to make. Reconditioning them is also twice as hard.

My favorite Rolex that I wear nearly every day is my stainless steel Sub C. You can wear with a bathing suit or a tuxedo. The gold version is too heavy . The gold Rolex I like is the Daytona on a strap; I'm in the market for one right now. I have already have the white ss Daytona which is harder to get than a gold one.

Good choice.My everyday watch now is SS sub with green ceramic dial. Got it as a daddy's day gift this year. I love daytonas too. In fact, I have collected 3 of them; SS white dial, 2 tone with slate silver dial and your choice, YG white dial with BLK alligator strap.
