The people I know that bought Enzo's new got them at list. They were approved at corporate, and all the ones I know were serious Vintage Ferrari collectors, already well known.

No different from the La Ferrari. Of course there is a street value for these cars. They are saying the 1.4 million La Ferrari already has a street value of 3 million.

They did switch to a lease to try to control resale. And if you flip you are out on the future. The few guys that I know bought them still have them http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxSKO...outu.bactually.

The Enzo only came with the F-1.

Ha! It works exactly like that. They sell to friends/business associates who put some miles on them before reselling them. The profit is split then the process is repeated.

Not a very accurate assessment.

I was referring to the McLaren F1. I apologize for not being clearer.

Oh, are you measuring now?

You probably meant to ask how I know this.

I have run into this issue in the past when buying Ferraris, specifically in San Diego. In the past (I haven't checked in the last three years) the only way to buy a "new" Ferrari was to purchase a used one with 500 to 1,000 miles on it. The owners of the low mileage cars were people who had relationships with the dealers and were sold vehicles "out of the waiting list sequence" with the understanding that when the vehicles were resold the contact person at the dealership would share in the profit.

Oh, I have had eight Ferraris, at present I have a Superamerica.
