Stumbled across this on the Positive Feedback site. Very pleasant.

This is glorious music.
It is so calm, and yet so invigorating.
I'm deeply moved by the beauty of these pieces.
Bert van der Wolf recorded it excellently.

Nice discovery.
We enjoyed this quite a bit.

The history of art, and particularly that of music, is populated by injustices and "little masters" whose talent found little recognition for lack of performers and media coverage. This is an album that will please curious music lovers, who want something more than re-hashing the works of the same composers over and over again.
Like Robert and Clara in the 19th century, here we have Robert and Helen in the following century. Winner of the Grand Prix de Rome in 1924, Robert Dussaut was a pure product of the Paris Conservatoire, where he studied with masters such as Widor, D'Indy and Henri Büsser. Later becoming a teacher himself, he was also a violinist in the Opera Orchestra. An artist with a keen analytical mind, Dussaut was also an acoustician, author of several technical works on the musical phenomenon. He left behind a catalogue of melodies, five operas, and chamber and symphonic music. Hélène Covatti, his wife, was born in Athens before coming to study in Paris where she was congratulated by Arthur Honegger. In particular, she composed two cycles of melodies that were performed on French radio shortly before the war.
This recording is the result of the wisdom of pianist and conductor Iñaki Encina Oyón, a former pupil of Thérèse Dussaut, the daughter of the forgotten couple. Enthused by the harmonic and musical quality of the two composers' melodies, he was able to persuade young Guatemalan singer Adriana González to make this complete recording. The tutelary shadows of Massenet, Fauré or Ravel sometimes sneak into these refined and often melancholic pages. © François Hudry/Qobuz

The first time we listened to this, it was meh.
The second time we started to really like it.
Now, the third time, we love it!

Ed, thank you.
I don't like everything though.
Deutsche Schlager music for example will not enchant me...

There is so much outstanding music out there, all within reach nowadays through the streaming services.
Wonderful times for music lovers.

A lot depends on how you like your Mahler.
