Lucky for me most of the super top high end brands I don'r much care for the sound.
I know someone that bought a Continuum Caliburn and could not get it to perform. He been doing this forty years and owned a shop even. Finally just sold it. I'm sure it's a good table but expectations are high at that level. |

It is really hard to understand the sound unless you have heard a Shindo turntable system.
Additionally you can't "build" one unless you have the skills to make a Shindo tonearm, platter, bearing, and cartridge, as well as the plinth. You can make a nice plinth, and the Garrard 301 restored is a very good sounding turntable.
