That depends on what issue you are trying to fix. If you sit away from that wall and are trying to even out bass response, it may not help much. But if you are sitting close to that wall it will help a lot with reflection issues.

The latter

My couch is against the back wall. And it's not that it's unlistenable, which is quite impossible with Guarneri's But when I put something like a pillow behind my everything sounds just a tad smoother and more fluently.

@Ivan: Why have you chosen for GIK panels? Is there something quite innovative and special about their design? I would almost buy them for their looks

I have dealt with most all acoustic panel companies out there; GIK is one of the easiest to work with. Reliable delivery times, quality products, and innovative design makes them a big winner in my book.

Aaah that's great But what's innovative about their design. I haven't really looked into acoustic panels yet. How do they look behind the picture. Compared an ordinary picture with a frame? Very curious over here

I was astonished to see the beauty of chrome.
My compliments really nice.
Too bad for me that we are far away otherwise I would have wanted to hear and experience the magnificence of Burmester
