Thanks Joe, but with single 911, I felt the sound is so powerful and tightly controlled.
I never have experience with twin 911, but single 911 is already a joy, great joy.
But somehow I feel it is so much solid state. I feel like I am listening to an amplifier that has great sound all the time, unlike with Tube ARC+ Moon that sometimes I get lost into music, that because ARC don't shoot sound out this strong, so it is more relax, although less exciting. sound from Burmester keep me awake and alert all the time, due to its very powerful sounding that call my attention, in a good way.
Bye for now, bedtime.

Randy,

Thank you. It's a lot of fun. I've been fortunate to have met you guys here to exchange ideas and opinions. It's also nice to have an outlet that allows me to mix and match all this fine gear.

Toga, do you know if Audionet is imported in Thailand?
In case it is, check their MAX monos. Their amps are IMO in the Soulution league yet are much less expensive; a pair of MAX monos is about the same price as Burmester 911.

AUDIONET - enjoy the science

Anatta, I 've read reviews of this amps from some web.
They looks really nice. Not sure about importers, I frankly I am not keen to play
something too niche market. It will be similar to buy bad stock. hard to resale
with poor value, that is what I have to be very careful.
Today I went to an event. They compare super high end system with real band, real
Bosendorfer. Speakers were Isophon RC-11 and quad Octave Jubilee amp and preamp, played in small concert hall. What an experience. OK they never sound like real band, not even closed.
But on some songs by bad ears telling me that it is more beautiful sounding than real. haha. I think today if they want to match the band, they must used beefy solid state amp like Soulution 700 or Burmester 909V. Tube never be able produce that sharp transient attack of purcussion instruments. However that was a great show.
I will know soon how much I miss Burmester amp once I reconnect Moon and ARC back.

Another German amp, the T+A M10 monos, hybrid design with tube input stage, high power and high current mode of operation.

Yep, heard the M10 driven Focal Grande Utopia.. it sounds like tube, but plenty of power, so sweet sounding
It make voice on Focal so large, way way larger than life. and yep we have importer of T+A here too.
As of now about to make a purchase of source. Be it Accuphase 900 or Burmester 069, the new amp
will be project of 2013 or 2014.
