Meridian Sooloos 2.2 with TIDAL streaming

This release incorporates the integration of TIDAL streaming and we advise all users to activate the update at a time convenient to them. Once successfully updated, the system will report the new software version on its control interface (Control 10/15 or Control PC/Mac).

As usual, to ensure a smooth implementation of the new software across the globe, notification will be pushed out to systems in stages across the Sooloos online community. This means that not every system will receive the notification simultaneously on the first day of the release. However, as long as the system is online, it will not miss out on the update.

As part of this upgrade, users will also be invited to take up a complimentary 3 month (90 day) trial to the TIDAL service upon registration of their Meridian Sooloos product(s).

In addition, we are releasing a new version of the Core Control App for iPad users running iOS 8. This fixes an issue specific to iOS 8 so there is no update for earlier versions of iOS. There will also be an update for users of the more basic Sooloos App for iPhone and iPad which addresses issues with cover art aspect ratios on some devices. Both updates will be available from the App Store on the same day as the Sooloos update, Monday 23rd March.

I had the box with the serial number handy for my most recently purchased MS200 (as opposed to my C15 or my MC200) so I registered that and then about ten minutes later received an email with the voucher for the Tidal 90 day trial. I had purchased this MS200 in June 2014.

Still waiting on Meridian to send out the Sooloos 2.2 update. Apparently, it is being done in a phased fashion and may take a few days for everyone to receive it.

I still have nothing on the Meridian update and following the Meridian Forum neither has anyone else. The updated iPad/iPhone ap is now available and I have updated that.

Hi, Jim. Didn't one dealer in the UK say he has gotten the update?

Also, I have just updated the Sooloos iPhone app, but I have not yet seen the updated Core Control iPad app.

I think some dealers may have gotten it but so far no one has come forward on the Meridian Unplugged site saying the have seen it.
