Halgorythme in the house!

Dear friends, in this thread I want to share my experience with our new tube amps.
We have been playing music (and TV) through them for 2 ½ weeks now.

So, after ordering the amps in March, the 6 months wait started.
A good time to enjoy the last semester with and then say goodbye to my fantastic Burmester amplifier.
I have to underline this remains a fantastic piece of kit.
After all, I chose it above the McIntosh and Accuphase integrateds at my dealer's in 2010.

A couple of weeks, I got a teaser from Cédric, with a couple of pics.

Notice I went for the option "pass through" because I want to integrate the pre with my home theater.

For those who know his system: he has Audio Note speakers now.

The whole Sunday morning I prepared our living room.
Getting the gear out of the rack, cleaning it, bringing in the second Burmester rack we bought (we really like the look of these racks, and they are very solid), putting the gear back, and prepare the new cables we brought from Ivan last summer (WW Platinum Eclipse ICs), and we purchased from our dealer (Silver Electra Power Cables).

Cédric lives 20 minutes from here.
I like that, my amp designer in my back yard!

We carefully entered the amps.



These were labeled: D for droit (right channel).

I had seen a special twinkle in Cédric's eyes.
I guess he had seen what Meta prepared for the afternoon: a sweet buffet!



Her chocolate mousse is the absolute best!
