Default F1 - 2012 Season

All,

Dear F1 fans. The new season begins this coming weekend in Australia. This is scheduled to be the longest F1 season yet with 20 races. We also get a US race in Austin - mid November.

Are you ready?

Mike

Will be an exciting one Serge.

Hard to tell how competitive Ferrari will be at the opening race. The new car appears to be struggling with speed. The radical exhaust system was over heating the tires - it is being redesigned.

Also, it appears that both McLaren and Mercedes will be very competitive. I'm hoping that's the case so that we can have a more contested championship this year. Lastly, Lotus Renault appears to be quite fast as well.

Looking forward to it Mike. I am rooting for Ferrari but I am not holding my breath.

Agree. I'm a big Ferrari fan as well. Missing the good days of Jean Todt, Ross Brawn and Michael Schumacher...

It starts this week in my home city, in fact. I normally go every year, but I don't think I will go this year. It is too heartbreaking to see my beloved red cars end up behind those evil silver beetles and those soft drink cars. I will take a ride past the circuit (I only live 8km away) and hear the roar of the engines, though.

I would still attend. It's going to be a great season. There are 5 F1 champions racing this year!

Ready and waiting. Hotel already booked for Austin. Let's hope it really happens.

Kimi grew tired of crashing out in WRC and will be back where he belongs. Now if he can just find some motivation.
