Default Esoteric E-03 Packaging

I'm sure something along these lines has been posted before but I thought I would add my comments about Esoteric packaging. The E-03 phono stage I ordered from Ivan arrived at my home today. Ivan mentioned it would come direct and strapped to a skid. That's one way to ensure it doesn't get tossed around. In addition it had a tilt gage affixed to the outside.

Now I have owned several Esoteric units in the past but I do not remember a unit packed in "four" boxes, two of which also contained foam bumpers. Between Esoteric and the distributer that is what I call proactive thinking.

1-skid shrink wrapped and strapped
4-Boxes
1-light foam sleeve over the unit
1-cloth cover over the foam sleeve

Really? hmmm

Yeah the packaging from Esoteric is second to none. I think you are right, the phono stage had more boxes than the K-03 did!

I have the following power cords I will try on the E-03. Transparent Powerlink MM2x, Shunyata Alpha HC, and Analysis Pus which seems to work nicely on phono and pre-amps.
