When I asked about the deer, he said "oh, it's ok, this is my hunting car." I raised an eyebrow and he continued, "My usual car is a Rolls Royce!"

I was laughing thinking he was nuts, but about a week later I saw him driving the Rolls. I about wrecked my car gaping at his.
Randy.......That's a funny story. Sounds like he could have used one of these.

So Dan..now that you've had this rig a while, what do you think?

Good? Bad? Surprises? How's the ownership experience?

Just curious...I'm in the market for a new truck and looking for some real world input on the Fords.

Michael.......I love this truck. I have owned several Ford trucks before the King Ranch and all performed very well. In addition, I have purchased three Ford F150's for Marlene, a 2004, 2009 and her new 2013 F150 XLT. All of these Ford trucks have performed without any problems. Marlene is super happy with her new XLT. I always have the oil changes done at 5000 miles, transmission and rear end fluids at 50,000, and any other service as required. As for my King Ranch, I had my first oil change a couple months ago at 5000 miles and now have about 6100 miles on the truck. It has plenty of power to tow, drives very well with a nice ride and quiet interior. I have had no issues with anything on the truck. All the electronics work perfectly, Bluetooth connects with my phone, the navigation gets me to my destinations, and the stereo with subwoofer sounds good. I love the King Ranch leather package. It never fails to get great comments from those who ride in the truck.

So if you're asking me if I would recommend a new Ford F150, the answer is yes. Great truck.

This photo is the day I brought my Ford F150 King Ranch pickup truck home from the dealership.

Default Congrats

Congrats, had a 4x4 KR in black ('07) its a thing of envy. Don't forget to order your leather conditioner straight from the King Ranch saddle shop here in Texas, makes the leather feel like butter.
