I’m using an Opticalrendu feeding into the Baltic 3 DAC and loving it. Before that the OR feed the DA2 in the C2700. I’ve got to say the Baltic 3 comes out ahead of the DA2 especially after some tube rolling. There’s something special about low noise digital and tubes!

Bluesound devices for whole house listening.

Plus...Lukasz of LampiZator really knows what he's doing.

Great to hear you're enjoying it so much, Doug!

I use a Roon Nucleus Plus as a streamer into a Chord Qutest DAC. I got fed up with numerous problems with both Windows and Mac laptops, so I thought it might be a wise investment…and it was! I get a kick out of people who claim they are over priced for what you get, but some of those people don’t mind spending five figures on cables, so I don’t think $2500 is all that bad for a device that does its job perfectly and silently.

Bachtoven - good choices. I use the Quest as well. If the Roon Nucleus (or a Silenzio) saves you 10+ hours of headaches, well worth it.

Just ordered a Roon Nucleus to feed a Hifi Rose RS150. My guy could not get my Intel NUC to run the Roon GUI so am tired of wasting time on same. I'll move my storage to the Nucleus and Roon tosses in a year of Roon service, so should be good.

EDIT - Roon Nucleus running into a Rose Hifi RS150B. Once set up properly (with help from crwilli & Puma Cat) it is doing an excellent job.

SilenZio feeds my MCD1100 as my DAC and I have been really happy with this combo…..

We’re using a Taiko Audio Extreme. Not sure how much longer I’ll be using Roon as Taiko has XDMS almost ready for Beta testing. I’ve been using the alpha versions and sound quality of XDMS is on another level.

Playback Designs MPS-X. Wonderful sounding - upped the density, color, dynamics and most importantly the overall engagement factor. Replaced a Grimm MU1 (also excellent but different). It is only a Roon endpoint, I use a standard Roon nucleus as the core.

Just picked up a Denafrips ARCE connected to my Cary 306 CD player over AES in the office. It sounds great.

I also have a DMP-A8 in the bedroom and Roon is not yet certified for it. I thought it would sound better.

I use a Esoteric N-05XD in the theater and it sounds amazing.

Chad - checked out the Denafrips. Very impressive. It should cover the needs for any foreseeable DAC.

At a different level, I use the SOtM Neo as a bridge - works flawlessly with the Chord DAC. Roon recognizes the Chord as the endpoint, the SotM is invisible.
