Default Open Box McIntosh At Magnolia

Popped in to the nearby Magnolia this morning. They have been completely renovating the entire store and I had hoped they had finished. I was hoping to audition a pair of the KEF Blade 2's, but alas, the renovation was still ongoing.

Anyway, I snapped a few pics of some Mc gear they had marked down as open box specials. (Just in case anyone is interested)

Some decent open boxes. Thanks for sharing. Seems the Magnolia brand is going away. Best Buy site now calls it Premium Audio Video. Sad to see that trend.

Good news is that the store continues to sell and showcase premium audio; Macs, B&W, KEF, Martin Logan/Levinson, Classe, Devialet, and more. Not the last word in independent dealer support but at least a place where the general public can be exposed to this great hobby.

I think Magnolia has often had a tough time moving Mac, at least where I live. They were very quick to offer a steep discount on demo units when I expressed admiration but not buying intent. Something for others to consider
