Very nice!
Does the marble (or granite) stand sit directly on top of the Svelte pad? Is there anything in between? Also, any improvement in the bass area? |

Tommy, The granite sits directly on the Svelte pad - nothing in between. I'm using a JL Audio sub-woofer with the Mementos, so I've really not assessed any change in the bass from the Mementos. They did tighten up everything else though.

Maybe the next step is to try another set of Svelte pad under the JL audio sub. |

How well do you guys think the Svelte shelf would work under a music server like the Mac mini?

And thank you, Bill, for the pointers. I am a person who seems never to stop fiddling with my systems, moving speakers around, changing VTA etc.on my cartridges, trying out "new and better" accessories, switching wires and cables, etc. etc. So, I'm just about to start doing exactly what you have recommended in your post and I'll let you know if better sound is realized. You are truly a fount of knowledge and it is a real plus to all of us Sonus Faber owners to have you here on AA.
