Forgive me, for I have Sinned again...
I've become a seriously Sinnful watchonista, having become my favorite brand....they're just my kinda watch company. Nobody else would make a watch specifically for firefighters! (German firefighters, at that!).
Anyway, here is my second "luxury" watch, the incredibly versatile Sinn 556A, bought this used from someone in San Francisco. The 556A is a model of clean, simple design and maximal legibility. The design is after the instruments in aircraft cockpits. The movement is an ETA 2824-2. I bought a series of straps, which I like wearing with this watch; it's so versatile that you can dress it up or down, make it an elegant or a tool watch look, and it all works. Here it is on a steel gray NATO strap   A touch elegant with a black gator imprint Hirsch leather strap:  Or, you can go all military and put it on a camo NATO to harken back to the days of the Battle of Britain:  With a hacking and hand-winding movement and single-purpose design, my 556A has become principally my daily driver, getting the most wrist time of my collection. Today I'm wearing it with the camo strap, though usually it is on a navy blue NATO, which looks terrific with it.
