From Hood Canal
Greetings Colleagues from Hood Canal in the Peaceful Peoples Democratic Republic of Washington State.
I've been here for a couple of months now so I thought I should introduce myself. I am a classically trained musician (low brass), and as you can guess I like to listen to classical music at realistic levels, which my beloved wife of 44 years puts up with Being a musician who doesn't teach, You have to find a way to feed yourself. So I was for a time involved with audio retail (in the mid '70's ), moving to commercial (pro) audio and design. I moved from there to being a Wine and Beer salesman and retired from that business a few years ago. Music is the main thrust of my involvement in this hobby, and the recreation of the concert hall experience. Row 10 center . There is nothing I enjoy more than sitting in my living room (scandinavian teak) with my best beloved, German Shepard at my feet,a glass of cab and BEETHOVEN AT FULL THROTTLE! Greetings, Petronius, from the Mt Baker foothills, and from another music major (Berklee) who also chose gainful employment instead. Can you share a bit about your system?

Greetings Kahuna Canuck,
I have relatives in White Rock, and Surrey on my moms side, and my grandmother is from Stoney Plain Alberta. I don't get up there as often as I would like. Last edited by Petronius; 12-16-2020 at 06:05 PM. |
