Default Resolved, B&W 800 Series Not Made in China

After reading a recent article I am led to believe that the 800 series is now made in China. The article mentions that most of the 800 series cabinets are made in the UK, suggesting that the rest of the speaker is made in China?

Anyone have further info? The Made In China badge will result in my immediate dislike for the speaker and an auditioning process will begin for another speaker brand.

I believe the 800 series are now made in China except the 800 Diamond itself & the flagship Nautilus.

There are lots of other great European made speakers out there.

Sad, but true. It seems it's the way of the world in the new global economy. Living here in the US, it's difficult to find anything not made in China. Heck, the last time I was on holiday in Australia, it was difficult to find Aussie souvenirs that weren't made in China.......

The 800 Series Diamond line and Nautilus speakers are still manufactured at the Bowers & Wilkins factory in Worthing, UK.

Hey BlueSky, have you posted any pictures of your setup? I was just checking out your signature and noticed you have a unique collection of B&W models from different generations.

Great videos! I wonder how much has changed from 2010 though with manufacturing?

Yes it is an eclectic mish-mash of various pieces. I haven't posted any pictures as of yet but I will get it done. Is there a special thread to post in or just start a new thread?

Yeah, Ivan has a section set up for people to create threads to post pictures of their systems.
