Joe...sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees, what about a single chassis mc2102 solution? vs one mc275 & c45.....
Be interested in what folks thought of that too...

I know what you are going through. I don't know the MC2102 but it looks great. I would like the equalizer settings of the C50, for example. You could always start with one MC275 and add another if you wanted. For some reason, and I hope others will answer, I feel the MC2102 might be more neutral compared the the MC275. The MC275 draws me in more than the MC2102. It just personal taste. |

mc602.....what music is in your collection? CWIII's are quite versatile, but music preferences might help narrow down your amp/preamp search a little bit. Cornies are a fairly honest speaker, room size/shape and placement as well as cable/gear matching will have a sizable impact on your sound quality.

CWIII should fill your mid-size room quite well. If you can get them out away from the walls and out of the corners they will rock your world. One MC275 should provide plenty of volume and lush full sound without even breaking a sweat. Rock on!

I have lived with Cornwall I and MC275 and C2200 combo for several years. I see no reason to change.

Ron, interesting. I wondered how the later generation I & II's compare. I'm picking up a mc275 tonight in fact, and a local inexpensive Cornwall I has me thinking.....

You could always tweak out the Cornwall I and make it even more awesome! I'm more of a plug and play kind of guy.
