Just checked. Just barely warm, which was a pleasant surprise. It has been running since I rolled the tubes at about noon.

Very lucky, then.

Usually, especially with the heat of tubes, I'd be very hesitant to place anything, let alone a passively cooled streamer, on top of it.

I'll be adding another 1/4" of space between them. But, the C22 runs very cool for a piece of tube gear.

Another question.
I was going to run a CAT5 cable from my router on the floor above down to the RS150B. However, as the cable feed has a splice about 10ft away am wondering if I would not be better served by installing a tee in the cable and putting a small router in at that point. Running the CAT5 from above will be a bit of a hassle.
Any particular router that is recommended for this?

Glenn, one idea as a "footer" to place under your HiFi Rose might be to place 3 or 4 Herbie's Audio Labs Tenderfoot footers on top of the C22. These would raise the Rose up about 1/2" and provide more "air volume" for cooling. I've found for only $16.49/ea the "Herbie's Tenderfeet" to be a very cost-effective footer for damping vibration and providing isolation. For example, I place them under my EtherREGEN and also my Akasa NUC Roon Core in the RSR (remote server room).

Just a suggestion for your consideration, cheers.

Second the Herbie's recommendation, and for a couple of bucks more you can get the Big Tall Tenderfeet, which will give you almost an inch if you have the shelf clearance.

Thanks. I use Herbie's a fair bit, as needed (under stand-mount speakers, under my TT arm-board, etc.).
Have some Dynamat (vibration control rubber) sheet I purchased from Ivan many years ago. 3/16" thick. I'll put a couple of layers under each foot, if need be.
Nice thing about my rack is it has easily adjusted shelves to give a bit more room, as needed.

Meaning a second cable modem + router? This could be challenging; there are a lot guides out there for setting this up properly. The cable company might treat this as a second account as well.

There is something out there called MoCA - allows ethernet over coax cable inside your home. Take a look at the below diagram. Maybe you can use this type of configuration.

Thanks, but that looks very complex (I'm a fan of KISS).

Next step is the arrival of a proper power cord and the Gigafoil 4 switch. Then I plug everything together and see how it goes.
Thanks for all the input.
