Hifi Centre Listen Up Vancouver! Event

Is any Vancouverite going to this event on Nov. 3, 5-9pm? Dave Wilson, Dan D'Agostino, and Vince Bruzzese (Founder of Totem Acoustic) will be there to show up their products.

I heard some McIntosh reps will also be there. Ron-C, will you be there? If so, I'll bring my McIntosh book for you to sign. Who else important from McIntosh will be there?

Sadly, I won't be able to make it. Have a problem with the left toe that keeps me from going anywhere.

Hope you are feeling better soon. I dropped by HiFi Center on Saturday, lots of work being done there to get ready.

It was a great event, lots of people and a good vibe. I had limited time, but was able to listen to D'Agostino Momentums with Sashas (including two Wilson subs) and Transparent Opus cables, very impressive, the system was a real tour de force. The Ayre with Vienna Acoustics Kiss room was also really good.

Sorry, I didn't bring a camera...

I thought the D'Agostino Momentums with Sashas room was good as well as the Ayre/Vienna...those were my highlights.

Good to see Ron C, though he got stuck in that little room again...the MC601s were gorgeous!!

The rest of it was ok, but lots of waiting and I was disappointed that "computer audio" was their theme and there wasn't any analogue/vinyl.
