Default Recommendations for a lightweight power cord

I own two Revel Sub-30 subwoofers. They are lovely, well-performing units except for one problem: they were designed for use with the lightweight power cords that came with them. Consequently, I have a problem with the upgraded PS Audio power cords I am currently using, namely, their weight combined with the size of their C15 termination causes them to fit poorly (particularly with one of the subwoofers the cord wiggles around easily for some inexplicable reason). As a result, the protection circuitry of that subwoofer shuts it down from time to time. When I use the lightweight power cord provided by Revel, all is well -- go figure! I have decided, therefore, to replace the PS Audio power cords.

These new cords will run from my Hydra-2/Venom Defender to the subwoofers. Each subwoofer is internally powered by its own 1,000 watt Class D plate amplifier.

I would appreciate receiving suggestions from other forum participants regarding recommended power cords for this application. The criteria is that the cord be lightweight and relatively flexible overall, that its C15 termination not be massive, and that it be eminently affordable.

Thanks!

Try the lightweight Pangea cord from AA. If they don't work out you have 30 days to return them. They start as low as $30.

Venom EF-V12 or EF-V10

This version is extremely flexible and not at all heavy.
The EF version comes with the CopperCONN EF-C15 connector that fits into tight spaces and has incredible grip strength.

If Shunyata's excellent and reasonably priced EF versions do not fit the bill you could always try Crystal Cables Ultimate Dream for about $12k-$13k.

The CopperCONN connectors also sound really good, too!

Try one of the new LessLoss C-Marc cables. They are super light, sound great, and have the best gripping female plugs of any I've ever tried.

I ended up buying two 5’ Cullen Cable’s Gold Series power cords and have been using them now for nearly three months. I could not be happier with the result, both sonically and financially.
