Just got this from Dennis...says he's running the amp for 24 hours at his house and then shipping tomorrow. Oh man. The anticipation is killing me.

Default My Inspire Firebottle w/volume control
I luckily found this for sale from the original owner, with a couple sets of tubes . I need to learn some more on rectifiers and their effects on power tubes —but I’ve taken a lot of notes here. I do like the KT88s but am trying el34’s to change it up. I need some socket savers before I continue—love this amplifier!

Also have a pair of Mazda 6v6GTS and a couple of different input tubes on the way.

I’ve been checking tracking almost every five minutes…

It's killing me.

Amp is literally 100 miles away, according to Fedex tracking.

Still anticipated arrive time is tomorrow.

This is grinding.

Got the amp tonight…then remembered the NCAA Men’s Championship was on (and I’m a Jayhawk). So no ctended listening tonight. Just a wee taste, but…

I told myself It would probably not come close to my expectations…but it did. It’s the sound I’ve been looking for…AND IT’S BARELY BROKEN IN!

Dennis will run most amps at the shop for as long as he can before shipping them out. So consider it at least slightly broken in...
