Default Olive 04HD

The Olive O4HD was delivered a few days ago and I am just excited about everything this cool piece of gear offers. It could be several weeks until I integrate it into my system, preferring to keep it near my CD Collection as I load exactly what I need into the hard drive first. I can't believe I waited on this purchase. Today all is right in my audio world!

Beautiful! Enjoy it. One tip when you have it setup next to your cd collection, now is a great time to build your playlists...as you add cds. Have Fun!

Nice! I've always liked the look of those units. What's the storage capacity of that?

The 4HD is a very fine one piece solution. I enjoy mine and it makes playing hi-rez files oh so easy.

Jim... I so agree with you, right now the O4HD Olive is making my MS-750 feel uneasy. I am sure they will get along.
Doug... the HD Capacity is 2TB !!!
Kahuna... starting on the playlists right now as per your suggestion, Thx
BlueChiaro... need to determine which system this Olive will live in before I update signature, unless that's your way of telling me this has to go right into the main system which I think may happen!
dcanla...thank you

Hello,
Been thinking about the olive too...
Does anyone know whether olive upsamples anything or does its Digital coax output with native sample rates?
Thanks

As far as I know it outputs the original rates as how you saved the files. Previously I had the Olive connected thru a Esoteric D-07 which displayed the output and it seemed to always match the file.
